Japan family reunion 2025, Shinagawa Prince, Tokyo, where chaos and siblings collide!

 

Hayashi Family Reunion 2025 went down at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel! 

Akira rolled in from Ikeda, Yozo escaped Nagoya, Masako braved Saitama and Tokyo, and Herb and Fumiko? They pulled an 'Around the World in 30 days!' coming all the way from the USA via China. Lina, Ty, Megumi, and David kept the party fueled with food, lethal Dad jokes, and bowling balls aimed (mostly) at the pins. Huge props to Keiko for orchestrating Mom's Grand Tokyo Adventure!

After the fine dining, we only needed three attempts to actually reach the coveted Japanese garden! As for Akira's historical deep dives? Turns out, our grandfather Motozo was the unsung hero of the 1930s, single-handedly arming Japan with the mighty Philips head screw. Confirmed by Akira himself, so it must be true! And let's hear it for Akira and his brother, who basically saved the family from poverty and post-war GI-chocolate diets."
